Before 1450 AD, the area now known as Scottsdale was inhabited by the Hohokam, who are best known for building miles-long stretches of irrigation canals, some of which are still in use today. At thetime of European settlement in the area, Scottsdale was primarily a Pima village, with some Pima remaining in their original homes into the 20th century, as the city was built up around them. One of the first European settlers, in the 1880s, was Winfield Scott, a U.S Army chaplain who fell in love with the region. He and his brother purchased land and became the first inhabitants of what was then called Orangedale. The name was changed to Scottsdale in 1894, in memory of its founders. Scottsdale’s population boom began after World War II, with the opening of the Thunderbird II Airfield , and continues to this day, accommodating both industry and increased need for homes.

29 August 2025I don’t live in the area and wanted to surprise my daughter with some flowers for her birthday. I originally ordered from a different local florist, but immediately cancelled due to the $29.99 delivery fee on a $40 purchase. I then came across this florist whose delivery fee was much more reasonable. They went above and beyond to deliver my daughter’s surprise Birthday plant. Surprise to me, she wasn’t even at work to receive them. :( My only regret is the lack of ability to tip the driver for their job well done . Will definitely use them again .

15 May 2025We had the most amazing experience! The flowers were beautiful, the customer service was exceptional! They truly went above and beyond for us. We were coming from out of town for our daughter’s graduation and they reached out to the hotel we were staying at and verified they would hold the flowers for us, they texted when they were delivered. I would recommend them to anyone and all our family out in AZ! I will definitely use them again!

6 May 2025My daughter was so excited to get her flowers from Campus Flowers. We are out of state and she is a senior this year so it was a nice surprise for her during a stressful time of the year. I loved the ASU balloon and teddy bear as an option. Ordering was easy, delivery was done when my daughter was going to be coming home, and pricing was reasonable. An all around awesome experience!
